“End-of-life care” is a difficult aspect of aging. Aging is often associated with severe and burdensome ailments. The impairing aspect of severe illness, combined with the dread of pain, suffering, and loss of independence near the end of life, raises questions of quality vs. quantity of life that impact the patient and the entire family. To steer this discussion forward, Amazing Care Network hosted an insightful webinar featuring Cora Tellez in conversation with Dr. Bob and Elizabeth Uslander, founders of Empowered EndingsTM.

The webinar focused on the Death with Dignity initiative, with Bob sharing his own experience with the losses of patients, friends, and family members, addressing our flawed healthcare system. The webinar aims to improve End-of-Life Care for everyone by equipping patients, families, healthcare practitioners, and institutions with the knowledge they need to alleviate the anxiety and sorrow that comes with the process, seamlessly steering everything.
